Innovations Leading Practices

AMRUT 2.0 was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 01 October, 2021. Besides, providing central assistance for universal coverage in water supply in all statutory towns, upscaling coverage of sewerage and septage management in 500 AMRUT cities, rejuvenation of water bodies (including urban wetland) and creation of green spaces, AMRUT 2.0 also aims to encourage innovative solutions under Technology Sub-Mission. Mission envisages identification of innovative, proven and potential environment friendly technologies in the fields of water & used water treatment, distribution and water body rejuvenation. To achieve the envisioned goal, start- ups will be encouraged in urban water sector.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Govt. of India, invited applications/ proposals from interested/ eligible start-ups to provide innovative technology, business solutions to address challenges in the urban water sector in India. MoHUA intended to select 100 start-ups providing workable and scalable solution for urban water problems.
Vaidic Srijan LLP’s “Cownomics® Technology” was commended as the “only indigenous technology based on Vaidic Science” to qualify beneath Nature-based treatment systems for ground and surface waters with least water and carbon footprints, below thematic area of Fresh water systems, for providing innovative technological solution.

IIPA

IIPA (Indian Institute of Public Administration) was established on 29^th March 1954, Hon’ble Vice President of India is their Chairman. IIPA every year conducts, its flagship program called the Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration (APPPA). This is a long term education-cum-training programme which is specifically designed for senior officers including IAS and Defense Services generally of the rank of Additional Secretary/ Joint Secretary in the Central Government and equivalent in the State Governments. We were invited to conduct a presentation & training on “Rejuvenation of Water Bodies” followed by a site visit for an ongoing project in Delhi.

NEERI

NEERI (National Environmental Engineering Research Institute), Nagpur is a constituent of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi and has a nation-wide presence. The mandate of NEERI is to conduct research and studies in environmental sciences, to render assistance to the industries of the region, local bodies, etc. in solving the problems of environmental pollution and collaborate with academic and research institutions on environmental science and engineering for mutual benefits. NEERI invited us for giving a talk on their webinar on the subject of “Lake Monitoring and Management” along with other dignitaries of the Water Sector.

UDYAM Registration

As per the notification issued by the ministry of micro small-medium enterprises on 1^st June 2020, MSMEs will now be known as Udyam. And the registration process for an organization as an Udyam will be called Udyam Enrollment Registration. As per the notification of the Ministry of the MSME, all the existing Indian companies and enterprises shall file and register as Udyam on or before 31^st March 2021. The old Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum can be upgraded to Udyam Registration by verifying/seeding the PAN. It’s a Government Recognition for all new business entities, and is mandatory for all new enterprises.

After months of rigorous audits, filing, documentation, processes, structures, brainstorming, and hard work, finally we’ve earned our ISO 9000:2015 Quality Management System certification from London based UK Assessment & Certification Services Limited with International Accreditation, for Waterbody Rejuvenation, Flood & Drought Mitigation, Ecological Dredging, Water & Vector Borne disease Mitigation, Soil, Water & Air Ecology Resurrection, Chemical & antibiotics free Integral Ecological Farming, giving higher Quality & Quantity in Animal Husbandry, Dairy & Fishery sectors. We are obliged and thankful to all our Esteemed Partners, who helped us with signing their respective agreements within the time limits and contributed.

Startup India Registration

15^th August 2015, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s in his Independence Day speech gave a new vision for the Indian economy. A vision, aimed to tap the entrepreneurial potential of India. Startup India was that vision, as a policy framework for the entire nation. A Startup India Action Plan was announced on 16^th January 2016. It comprised of 19 action items spanning across three key areas of ‘simplification and handholding’, ‘funding support and incentives’, and ‘industry-academia partnerships and incubation’. This a mandate for all Technology startups in the country, be it a “soft tech” or “hard tech”.

Water Hero Award

Ministry of Jal Shakti is a latest Ministry formed under Government of India in May 2019, which has been created just to pay adequate respect and importance to the resource of Water, without which life wouldn’t be possible on the planet. The Ministry launched “Water Heroes” contest with the important message of water conservation. People were encouraged to share their stories on their act of Water Conservation and a team in the Ministry had to look into the stories to scrutinize, verify and confirm the authenticity of the story. The most remarkable and outstanding stories were selected for award.

ADRI

Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) was established and registered as a Society by a group of social scientists in 1991. It’s a non-profit civil society organization, dedicated to Environmental & Social Research. The Institute has been the host institution of many foreign research scholars from the Cambridge University, to University of Tokyo and many more. UNICEF had also chosen ADRI as the host institute for their summer interns in the past. They hosted a special dedicated session for us on “Vaidic Approach to Wetland Restoration”. Session was chaired by Dr. AK Ghosh, Chairman Bihar State Pollution Control Board.

CPCB

CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board of India) is a statutory organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It was established in 1974 under the Water Act, 1974. Their key objective is to advise the Central Government on any matter concerning prevention and control of water and air pollution and improvement of the quality of air, and also enforce the judgements of the National Green Tribunal (NGT). They had invited us for presenting our technology for transforming Waterbodies into blue carbon sinks, coupled with some case studies, followed by a site visit for any ongoing project.

CEECC

On 16^th September, 2021 for the occasion of “World Ozone Day”, CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENT ENERGY & CLIMATE CHANGE (CEECC) organized a special session on the subject of “Restoring Urban Ecosystems: A sustainable approach to mitigate the impact of ground level ozone”. The event was chaired by Dr. Prabhat P Ghosh, Director, Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change, (CEECC, ADRI), wherein we were invited for a talk along with Dr. Umashankar Singh, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Department of Environment and Forest, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Our topic for the lecture was “Urgency of restoring urban ecosystem”

TED Talk

TED Conferences LLC is an American media organization that posts talks online for free distribution under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”. TED was conceived by Richard Saul Wurman, who co-founded it with Harry Marks in February 1984 as a conference, it has been held annually since 1990. We were invited for a TED Talk at TEDx FORESCHOOL event in January, 2020 as our “Cownomics Technology” was considered an “idea worth spreading” by TED. The theme was “Falling upwards”, our Talk was on “Economics in Ecology”. The video of the talk has been uploaded on TED’s official YouTube channel.
